President Saleh inspects al-Hayma and Bani-MAter

 President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid an inspection visit on Wednesday to directorates of Al-haymah and Bani-mater, some 30 km to the west of the capital Sana’a. Official and members of local council received him.

   President touched upon concerns and needs of the citizens in both directorates and gave instructions to concerned bodies to accelerate implementation of projects that serve people. He went then to waterfalls that were flowing from peaks of mountains as a result of the rainfall bestowed up on Yemen by virtue of Allah Almight. He ordered concerned bodies to give more agriculture products and quality and packaging in a way, which enables Yemen’s products to complete in over seas markets.

   During his inspection visit, President Saleh listened to several citizens explaining their issues. He gave directive to concerned bodies to solve all issues as soon as possible. Pointing out to the role-played by local councils in achieving comprehensive development.

   Repeatedly, President confirmed the necessity of making dams and barriers to store rain water in order to be used foe agriculture lands and feeding underground water “ Fires and foremost, Yemen is agriculture country, so caring for agriculture development is considered to be the basis of comprehensive development”. President said. The government, president confirmed in interested in agriculture development as an important entrance for boosting the national economy and finding out more resources to increase national income. President Saleh was accompanied be chairman of Shura Council, Minister of state, Secretary general of Presidential office, Abdullah Al-Basheeri and number of officials .
