President Saleh Visits Bilad Al-Russ District

Sana’a Sep. 6…. President of the republic Ali Abdullah Saleh paid an inspection visit on Thursday to Bilad Al-Russ district, a few kilometers to the south east of sana’a.

Upon arrival, He was received by the Sheikhs social figures and dignitaries, members of the local council and citizens who welcomed the president s visit and expressed their happiness to see him touching their worries very close and allow them directly to speak to him about their demands with out any go- between.

The President then toured round the district and cordially spoke to people and listen to their demands.

He expressed his comfort to see the citizens turning to agriculture and reclamation of the poor land as well as breeding livestock, which activate the state of economy in the rural areas, which from the first step towards refreshing the national economy. (SABA)
